Today fly to Brisbane. Make your way to your accommodation and the rest of the day is at your leisure to explore this great city.

SUN Brisbane to Cairns
Depart Brisbane at 8.55am onboard the Sunlander and over the next 2 days, you will travel on one of Australia’s most endearing rail journeys, weaving its way along Australia’s incredible north-eastern coastline.
Overnight: First Class Sleeper (Red Sleeper), Queenslander Class (Gold Service) on the Sunlander
MON & TUE Cairns
Arrive into Cairns at 4.15pm and you will make your way to your accommodation. Your time is at leisure to explore all Cairns has to offer.

WED Cape Tribulation & Daintree (L)
Join your full day tour, highlights include: a 4WD tour with expert eco-guide through the Daintree Rainforest, a guided rainforest boardwalk tour and a cruise, visit the stunning Mossman Gorge and lunch in a beautiful rainforest setting.
Today is free to explore Cairns for yourself or perhaps take one of the many optional tours available to you. You may wish to take a cruise to the Great Barrier Reef (additional cost).
FRI Cairns to Darwin
Today make your way to the airport for your flight to Darwin. On arrival in Darwin, you will have the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight: Darwin Central Hotel or similar
SAT Kakadu National Park (L)
Depart Darwin and travel east into World Heritage-listed Kakadu National Park. You will visit the Warradjan Aboriginal Cultural Centre for an insight into the cultural and historical significance the park holds for its traditional owners. Join a guided boat cruise on Yellow Water billabong, Kakadu’s most famous wetland area. Keep a look out for saltwater crocodiles, birds and beautiful waterlilies. After lunch, travel to Nourlangie Rock art site and view the ancient galleries of Aboriginal rock art.
Overnight: Aurora Kakadu or similar
SUN Kakadu to Darwin (L)
Travel by 4WD to Ubirr to see superbly preserved Aboriginal rock art. Join an Aboriginal guide for the Guluyambi Cruise on the East Alligator River. Learn of the flora, fauna, Aboriginal mythology and history of the region from your guide. Along the way, with special permission, take a short walk into Arnhem Land (conditions permitting) and enjoy lunch in a bush setting. Later, stop at Window on the Wetlands and watch the changing light of day over the floodplains.

MON Darwin (D)
A day at your leisure in Darwin. Late this afternoon you will enjoy your included Sunset Dinner Cruise of Darwin Harbour.
Today is free for you to explore Darwin for yourself or perhaps take one of the many optional tours available to you.

WED & THU Darwin to Adelaide
Today you will depart Darwin at 10am onboard The Ghan, on one of the great rail adventures. On arrival into Katherine there will be time to enjoy a cruise on the Katherine Gorge (additional cost).
Overnight: The Ghan, 2 nights
FRI Adelaide to Sydney
Arrive into Adelaide at 12.30pm and make your way to the airport to join your flight back home.
